I have been reading through Ezekiel and mentally overlaid that material with what I have been noting in this country. It’s amazing how many times “and they shall know I am God” appears. I note that in each of these times, it appears after some prediction of trajedy. The fault is usually ones not following their known rules (Old Testament) and God trying to get their attention. Back at Genesis, there was a well known interaction that caused me pause. Eve ate the apple and gave to Adam. Let’s hit the pause button right at that moment. We now have an individual who disobeyed an edict of God and wanting the company of another individual in that transgression. In that moment, Adam had to choose if he wanted God, or Eve. He chose Eve, and God provided punishment accordingly as Adam chose something in front of God. Look at the commandments: Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Every time Israel forgot their assignment and worshipped something else, punishment came. Can our contry be any different? We have a wonderful heritage of following God in this country and the philosophy of socialism/Marxism has made incredible footholds. When God is displaced, problems result. I believe it’s just that simple.

Thoughts from Proverbs chapter 5
Posted by nurseinbox under random thoughts, Theology, UncategorizedComments Off
I was reading in Proverbs 5 and a thought “jumped out” at me.
The passage is about a man’s relationship with his wife and warning about looking elsewhere.
Verse 1 begins: “My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding. that thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oi8l: but her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. her feet go down to death: her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder he path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them…”
(Doesn’t this sound like the politician? especially the part about “ways are moveable”.)
Verse 15: “Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.”
Note that one’s satisfaction and production needs to be at home. Again, this is speaking about marital satisfaction, but the illustration for society/politics seemed to strike me.
How many out there are simply waiting for the government to take from a working individual and give it to them?

Congratulations Seals

and poo poo on Pres 0. I’m sorry, I just couldn’t stomach this narcissist taking the praise for a project so long in the making by the military. I’m only glad pres 0 didn’t get in the way.
As for the SEAL’s – excellent, and great doing your job as trained.
As for pres 0, I see someone trying to take both sides again. Our attacker is treated to a traditional muslim burial so that pres 0 can tell his comrades that he treated a fellow muslim appropriately. He can then turn to the rest of us and tell us how he has vanquished our enemy. *spit*
Had I been in charge of deciding what to do with Osamma, there would have been some pig pelts for a shroud and billboards announcing this is how we treat those attacking us. As I understand, contact with pig blood sends (theoretically) the muslim to hell. If that’s what they believe, by all means utilize it. Well I’m on the subject, I would also make a video of our bullets getting a coating of pig blood before they are shot. Let’s see how brave and valiant their warriors are when instead of 72 virgins to abuse, they get a flaming fire.
As to the last point, I feel Osamma is rather disappointed right now…

I found this intriguing earlier, and this post has some good theological notes as well.
