I have another incident, but this time it was propagated by Yahoo on their signin page where I go for e-mail. The subline stated “the fiscal cliff is just an arbitrary point which will be negotiated and reset at another point.” At least I hope that is close to the quote. Anyways, I saw that and several thoughts started to churn. The most coherent one rose to the top to announce, “Does the litigant say to the bankruptcy judge, this is just an arbitrary point in time” while all the creditors are outside the door waiting? Maybe we should just call this situation what it really is – we, as a country, are bankrupt. We have no money for what the congress critters want to do. Period. Apply the correct term and I bet the debate would change.
