Many moons ago, our oldest kidinbox went on a first trick-or-treat. We escorted to the first house, walked up to the door, rang the bell and instructed to, “Say, trick or treat.” Kidinbox was silent, looked up at the homeowner, received a candy in the bag, looked straight down into the bag and then we went to the next house. The scenario repeated itself. There were no repeated words, kidinbox looked into the bag again. At house number three, kidinbox fairly ran towards the door…
On Saturday, this kidinbox got married. We were busy as anything. I wrote a song for the occasion. Considering the two involved were law enforcement types, I applied the lyrics as follows:
The Ultimate Arrest
It was near Christmas, lights adorned most every tree.
Merry Christmas banners hung on poles in the sky
He was on patrol keeping watch on the beat
when something caught his eye
This figure had a presence, and was light on her feet
the chase had begun
They went through alleys, crossed the streets, rounded trees and bends.
Space between them shortening as he pursued his prey
Miles passed beneath their feet, time forgotten
Until that moment hands made contact, chase was done that day.
(chorus) He made his ultimate arrest, success that would be with him for life.
He made his ultimate arrest, that catch would then become his wife.
No further need for hot pursuit
The record book was closed that day.
There’s nothing additional to say
He made his ultimate arrest
On the sound track, I placed a highly equalized voice to simulate a radio saying “Car 5, subject sighted, corner of 1st and 2nd,” then, “Car 5, 10-80, chase in progress,” then, “Car 5, 10-95, subject in custody,” during the appropriate portions of the lyrics. I then had the officiator of the ceremony come during a musical portion of the song, prior to the chorus repeat, and handcuff the two of them. It was enjoyable. The officiator did provide the groom with the handcuff key, though, so they weren’t cuffed too long.
These will be nice memories as well.

What I want to know, is when the controller of elections will invalidate those ballots and bring charges. I know, it’s a democrat, so I’m not holding my breath.

Also, muslims approved of continuing slavery in the recent past as it would put the slave in close association with islam, which was considered a blessing for the person enslaved. How much press did that gem get? I found a CNN reference to isis. I was looking for a reference and stumbled upon a page which explains the philosophical background of the attacks noted recently in Germany. The article doesn’t mention it, but the association with training leading to behavior is clear.
Just some thoughts: Realize that slavery was banned from this country for moral reasons when it was still a viable institution. This country was the second in the world to ban slavery. islam still promotes that institution.

I had to go to work yesterday. Bills, you know those pesky things, keep me busy. Anyways, there is much to be said about sex as related to the action between individuals, but I want to move on to another aspect of this word. Prior to logging on to the web site I was mentally chewing on the approach as the difference between identity and descriptor. We have a plethora of forms in this society now bearing the term “gender” instead of “sex.” I see this as a problem. This is one of those cases where changing a small word to something associated changes large issues. When I was a bit younger, this term referred to the association of a word with male of female characteristics. Hammer had the feel of masculine and hug had the feel of feminine. One activity in school (grade school at that time) had us categorize a list of words in that fashion. I had to do a bit of looking to find a link describing what I experienced. It was interesting to note that during my extensive look at a single page of search engine, the top entries related to women’s studies. Those were not even in existence until 1990. (I looked up that one as well) Students born about the millennium will have had association with the class and term their entire lives and so will assume a much longer existence. Therefore, the usage of “gender” has been recent, though the present generation will not have a reference point without that usage. Why is this important? While, when I was developing, a person’s sex was simply that between the legs. Using ultrasound on a pregnant mother, one looked for either the cheeseburger or the turtle. There were only two choices and it was a simple process to know which was there. “Gender” allows the individual to apply their own feel of the word to the situation. See the difference? In the former, God provides a simple A or B with easy recognition. There were certain cultural behaviors associated with the designation as well as expectations the populace maintained which have been under attack by feminists. My personal belief is this is the base reason to alter the terminology. Consider what is available now:
- Cis Female
- Cis Male
- Cis Man
- Cis Woman
- Cisgender Female
- Cisgender Male
- Cisgender Man
- Cisgender Woman
- Female to Male
- Gender Fluid
- Gender Nonconforming
- Gender Questioning
- Gender Variant
- Male to Female
- Trans Female
- Trans* Female
- Trans Male
- Trans* Male
- Trans Man
- Trans* Man
- Trans Person
- Trans* Person
- Trans Woman
- Trans* Woman
- Transgender Female
- Transgender Male
- Transgender Man
- Transgender Person
- Transgender Woman
- Transsexual Female
- Transsexual Male
- Transsexual Man
- Transsexual Person
- Transsexual Woman
I found another more extensive list from a site now moving on to Pagan Wisdom. It was serendipitous to find this site at this time. Note that with God there were two possibilities. For the pagan, or those without God, there are 58, 63, or whatever. “Gender” is what the person feels, not what God made them. By moving over to that term, this country has taken an additional step away from the founding on Christian principles and allowed more confusion. How is confusion seen? I fill out forms constantly at work. There was a single form which now has relatives containing a box labeled “gender”. In the box are four choices: male, female, other, unknown. “Other” can be any of the 63 whatevers that have been made up and the “unknown” just hasn’t looked between the legs and acknowledged God put something there.
I have mentioned it before, but since I’m on this subject, let’s dive in. I used to work on a oncology floor in a hospital. I actually spent 18 months there before they closed the floor and I moved to med/surg. One of the questions we were to ask the men was if they had breast cancer. I felt that weird until it was explained to me that men would receive the same cancer as women as they had the same tissue in that location. Further, it was a more serious condition when found in a man. While there, we had two males come through with radical mastectomies. Yes, I’m talking scar from the middle of the chest to under the arm. I mention that to provide an illustration that the tissue is the same. It’s not the same in purpose though. When stimulated with the appropriate hormones – or marijuana, I’m told, the tissue in a man will start to expand and form gynecomastia. That is the proper term. “Breasts” is not. A breast is a female organ placed there for a simple purpose – to feed the baby. They are not there to make the swimsuit shape appropriately. They are there to provide nourishment for someone else. I ran across this article of a guy trying to defy nature. Note his conclusion:
And then I realized I was missing something essential: a child. For all our assumptions about breast-feeding, the one abiding truth is that it exists to nourish and comfort new life.
At least he discovered God’s design. Just trying to change a single feature doesn’t alter the structure that God built. We had someone who did a “transformation” and grew some gynecomastia and cut off God’s designation between his legs. This person announced that he was female and pointed to the swollen parts on the chest. No, there were a trillion cells saying XY. The fact that the tissue responded to hormone stimulation didn’t remove the fact that all the genes remained the same. Gender is not sex. Sex is what God made you. Surgeons can work wonders on shape and appearance, but the genes remain. What God made can’t be changed.
Imagine if gender was actually the term needed in this country. I have worked in prison ministry and have to get checked into the prison. They have a policy that the same sex person will do the pat-down. Imagine if that was gender. How many cops would be available who felt they were “Two-Spirit”? See how getting away from God’s simple design creates problems?

I tell you, with a title like that, this entry should get some traffic. Actually, my first sentence is one of three items related to this subject. I was thinking of tackling a couple of others and that one just poured out of the dendrites. Anyways, if you are easily offended, need “safe zones” or other such nonsense present in our modern upper level education, there is a back button on your browser and you are free to leave. I am married. Happily, I might add. I have previously mentioned that we have sex. It is understood because we are married. That is one of the privileges of the institution with Biblically based actions. There are only two mentioned times when a married couple are not to have sex. 1.) when the female is on her period, 2.) for a period of fasting and prayer. That’s it. Otherwise, the bed is labeled as undefiled and whoremongers and adulterers God will judge, to quote Hebrews 13:4. There are very few reasons to avoid the act – in marriage of course. This places the realm of reproduction and raising progeny firmly in the association of a family. The Bible also mentions other family designs, such as two females with a single male. The fact that it exists in the Bible is utilized to say that God approves of such three-soms. I don’t see approval. I do see an acknowledgement of mankind’s behavior. The Jews approached Jesus with the subject of divorce. Jesus replied that by the hardness of their hearts, Moses allowed the practice, but it was not from the beginning. (Mark 10:2-12)
There is only one area I can recall where a man was called upon to marry a second wife. That is when a brother dies leaving no child. The wife was to go to the next brother so that the family name would not perish. There are several stories about this subject, both in the performing of it and the neglecting of it. There is even a story of incest related to it – Moab. If you are a visualizing individual, the stories are described in Genesis and not for those who easily cringe. (Gen 19:30-32; 38:9) Note that the aura surrounding this action has nothing to do with the enjoyment of the individuals involved. It has everything to do with formation of family lines. There is a reason this action was to be placed in certain bounds. Our present society is becoming an example of why removing those bounds is deadly.
Once one takes the boundaries away from an action, there is a period of time where the population responds according to what was previously taught and order is maintained- without the boundaries there. Observers then tout the new show as reason the boundaries were not necessary in the beginning. However, once there is a change in population to a group of individuals who have not obtained the training, no carry-over of behavior is then possible. The new behaviors begin and society shows problems. Cut a rose and it looks and smells beautiful for a period of time. Once the nourishment has stopped, degeneration will occur. As one can see in our society, once the spiritual nourishment was removed, degeneration occurred. I have a memory. I was around in the 60’s, though don’t have too many memories of that era. I do remember going door-to-door during Halloween and receiving home-made cookies and popcorn balls. Children of this present age cannot say the same. There was degeneration in the culture and individuals started harming the children, which resulted in X-ray scans of the candy and requirement that everything be manufactured and wrapped. For the youngsters reading here, it was not always like that. There was a time when a neighbor would offer a cookie, and it was all right to eat it.
Back to sex. (Since we are close to the candy time, I thought that memory fit.) I was also in school when sex education was being pushed. For myself, it happened in 6th grade. The girls and boys were separated and put into different large rooms where a movie was shown. (There was no video back then.) (Yes, there was a time before DVD’s. It was a fun time as well.) Afterwards, we had a sex specific discussion, then went back to the regular classrooms where the usual mixed group had another session of instruction. The presentation was basically what sex was, hygiene, and circumcision. I remember my teacher making jokes about that last subject. That was all. Subject covered, and I knew enough to approach the action in marriage when it occurred. Remember, we grew up in a Christian household and certain acts were to be performed only within certain bounds. Culturally, however, the argument was being made that kids were “going to do it” and since it was going to happen anyways, teaching was required. Let’s just jump to the bottom line. If one wants more of something, either learn more about it, or buy more of it. As I see the advent of sex ed, the purpose was not to educate the children, but to activate behavior. This was to specifically thwart the training received at home. Thomas Sowell noted that if presentation of facts was desired, 12 years of training was not needed. That much training was only required if one was wanting to change the training received at home.
What has this country purchased with sex education? Illegitimacy rates, poor family structure, and abortion rates all increasing. Black family structure was destroyed. Compare the black families in the ’50’s to presently. Compare the black literacy rates between the same eras. Once sex was removed from the boundaries of family, the action became self-focused and those involved were participating for their own reasons – using the other person. The fall-out from such a mindset isn’t limited to the individual. How many young men have a decent role-model male? From where are they to learn how to direct their aggressive instincts to protective, rather than destructive violence? Once sex was removed from the dedicated family, degeneration occurred. It took a while to do so, allowing those proponents to say how good it was to have sex with anyone, whenever one chose, but the cultural rose is now wilted.
I am out of time, so will continue the subject later.

Yesterday afternoon in sunny and hot Miami my friend answered the doorbell. I kept an eye from the window.
An average-sized man in his thirties, wearing a pink polo shirt and khakis, holding a clipboard, immediately said hello in Spanish, and asked her if she was [her name], registered at that address. She said yes.
